Marquis M. Converse opened the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts in 1908 and started out with winterized footwear for men, women, and children. A Classic that never goes out of style!
These shoes are awesome and my daughter loves them. They do run a little big, so take that into consideration. Zappos is also great. I had to return the first pair as they were too big. The process was so easy and worry free!

This is my third pair. These are great looking shoes for every occasion. I even saw a guy at Metropolitan Opera wearing shorts and jacket with, off course, Converse slip-ons.

LOVE THESE SHOES!!!
These are great!! Extremely comfortable! They even have arches, as most Chuck Taylor fans would know that the originals are flat as a board!! I want them in every color!! These are not sized like the regular Chucks. They run more true to size.

After searching all over for this sneaker I found Zappos. I placed my order at 10:30pm and was amazed that at 11:00am the very next day it was at my door. Also it is great to have return shipping if needed. Great service!!

I took the advice of previous posts and ordered a full size smaller. They fit great and I am happy with my purchase. I recently visited Minnesota and received lots of compliments on my Converse shoes - I told many that the shoes were purchased at Zappos.com.

Dude, it's a classic -
Look, you're not really buying this shoe for its quality or the way it makes your calves look in skirts. You're buying it because it's an icon. I think they're the most comfortable shoe outside of those ones you see tech nerds wearing in the summer, so yay for that. You know what you're getting here so if you buy these and then complain that there's no arch support, you might just need to look into another aesthetic.

Absolutely great pair of shoes. Excellent look and extremely easy to keep clean. There is an awkward popping sound when you first wear them but after a week or 2 the shoe will literally mold to your foot removing the sound. Highly recommend!

I ordered this as a gift. I was worried about the size but took the advice of Zappos and other reviewers and ordered smaller size. The half size smaller was not available so I ordered 1 full size smaller. It worked just fine. I ordered at night and the shoes were here the next day. Again I am amazed at the service provided by Zappos!

Ladies Version...WAY BIG -
It took purchasing three times and returning twice to finally get correct size. I normally am an 8.5 (again this is ladies sizing) and I ultimately ended up with a 7.5 - the others were HUGE! Hope this helps!

Egad, what a cool kid's shoe!
I have two pairs of Converse high tops for myself, and my kids love them too. When my daughter opened her birthday package and discovered a pair of deep red high tops, she declared this the best birthday ever.
She has had other pairs in the past, and I know she will wear these shoes until they are too small. Even then it is likely she will continue to squeeze into them until I buy her new ones. Classic and funky, these are the perfect "I can't believe how cool you are" shoes for kids.

It was Wed. night at 10pm when I discovered I needed to order a smaller pair. I called late at night and I was not charged for the shoes again. I only need to eturnthe others within 5 days. I was like what? I was worried I would not have my shoes for Saturday,but guess what! They were at my house on Thursday! How did that happen? I married on Oct. 11th. I wanted to say thank you for a hassle free return, and I thank you for the best customer service I have ever seen. I never forget good service. That was my first time ordering from you.
