So I have been dying to have a pair of zip up boots. I am 5'4'' and have 17 inch calves. Nice, huh. So I got these in "black leather" and was totally disappointed in what I received. The color was more of a dull gray. From what others have said I am not even going to try and shine them up. Sadly, I am sending them back, even though I was able to zip them up. They did take a little work to get them up, but they zipped, which is more than I can say for any other zip boot. Still on the lookout. Love, love, love Zappos and the quick delivery and easy return policy!

Love these boots!
I needed an attractive flat heel boot - these are great! Slippery, though. I wish there were more tread on the soles. The fit is perfect - exactly an 8 1/2.

Love these shoes! They are super cute! They go with so many different looks. The heel is bit high, but with the platform it's not a problem. I ordered my regular size and they were a bit tight at first. After I broke them in they are very comfortable.

my boyfriend loves these things . . he's a man's man marine & he brings them to my house & he wishes he could wear them to work, too! great house slippers . . especially if you live in cold climate - they keep your feet really warm. oh yeah, and they look like shoes - no one would ever guess you're in your house slippers!!

These shoes are great and quite comfortable after a long night of dancing! I did have to order them a half size smaller, since they run a bit big. Highly recommend!

These are a great looking shoe for the price. I tried 2 sizes to make them work. But they just didn't fit my feet. I felt they were a touch on the narrow side.

A cool surprise.
These boots are a welcome and comfortable surprise for a wide-ish calf(ed) woman. They are sized plenty big and very comfortable. Interesting uppers: part leather, part cloth. This really reduces profile and chance of overheating indoors. Very happy overall.

I purchased this shoe in the brown and black combination. The other colors look enticing! It is very comfortable and great for pants or skirts with tights for winter in Chicago. I need stability and a shoe cut up high around the vamp (front opening).

Nice shoes. Looks nicer than in the picture and the material is awesome. I wear 11 and I ordered in a 12 and it fit just right. So if you going to buy this shoe order a size bigger than goodness I did. I had compliments on them all night. I am really happy with my purchase.

Perfect boot for my long legs -
I jumped on this boot when I first saw it, even though there were no other reviews at the time. It was delivered in a day, and fit me perfectly. I have 17.5" calves and very long legs. This boot (which zips at the ankle) fit comfortably around my calves and reached to my kneecap! We had our first snap of really cold weather and I wore them all day today; they were comfortable all day long and kept my legs warm. I ordered them in size 11; they feel true to size. The toe box narrows but didn't pinch my toes or the balls of my feet. The leather looks rich; there was a dye smell when I first received them, but after wearing them outside it seems to have gone away. I am so excited to have found another pair of really tall boots on Zappos that fit me to a T! Thanks!!!!

Bought my Uggs and wear them literally 24/7. I'm a 10, but 9 fits like a dream; I never wear socks with them. I live on a farm and ranch and I've worn them in the mud and in water - cleaned them and they're as good as new. I am constantly getting compliments on how great they look. I love that I can roll them up and turn them way down - different looks for difference occasions. Well worth every cent I spent.

Finally a shoe that fits!
I have been searching for a dressy shoe that would fit my very hard to fit foot and have finally found one I could actually wear for more than a couple of minutes!! I have "Morton's Neuroma" on my right foot and was able to wear these shoes for a whole night of partying and dancing...very impressed...I thought I was never going to be able to wear heels again...granted this isn't the tallest heel, but better than the flat ballet style dress shoes I thought I was destined to wear for the rest of my life! Good quality, comfortable, well balanced...easy to walk in! I have been wearing size 9 shoes in order to get the width, but I was able to go to a size 8W with these (after several tries...Thanks Zappos!). They did stretch a little, but not terribly...just enough to be comfy. Wore them all night, right out of the box.

Overall they are a good buy -
I personally didn't like the look of them but they definitely had some very good qualities. It is very hard for me to find a knee high boot that would have the zipper go all the way up. I bought these on a whim and the calf portion actually fit me, I was very glad for that, the down side is that the sizes go a bit big (I bought an 8.5 W and the boot felt like it was at least a 9W if not 9.5W, there was a lot of space).

The look of this boot is very nice. The only problem is they are super wide at the top. If you have a calf that measures over 17" around these are the boots for you.

Great...if you have cankles -
I have a 14-1/2" calf. These are one of the very few boots listed at Zappos as 'wide calf' that actually are. (Trust me, I think I've ordered and returned every pair!) They even felt a little loose around my calf. They were also large in the toe area, which is not bad, since you would likely be wearing socks under them, but the ankles were so HUGE that they made my foot feel unstable in them. Also, because they were so large in the ankle/instep area, I felt like I was wearing giant clown shoes. Sent these back too. :(

Adorable - but watch the buttons -
I bought these for my 8 yo & she loves them. They are adorable looking - especially the grey ones, and very comfy & cozy. The one issue is the buttons - you should reinforce them right away. The first button fell off only a few days after we got the boots, & I realized then that most were loose. Zappos did replace the boots though so now I have to reinforce all of the new buttons! Overall, very happy.

Cozy & perfect for chilly L.A. mornings -
Rain and snow aren't really an issue in Los Angeles but cold mornings do happen. I can wear these under and over jeans, tights, tracksuits, anything! I've had them for several weeks and shedding has not been a problem. They definitely stay up better if worn over long socks, tights, or jeans and I have bigger calves so someone with smaller calves will find these to be too big. These are meant for DRY cold weather and aren't really built for long walks either. I like to put insoles in all my shoes so I could probably take these out to Disneyland (my true test of a comfortable shoe) and not want to toss them afterward. Overall, I LOVE these boots!

Wow!!! First I have to say Zappos THANK YOU! For the fast overnight service couldn’t believe I placed this order last night and had my boots waiting for me at my door this afternoon! Ladies, these boots are absolutely stunning, especially when you view them from the side. It’s the perfect heel, personally fits true to size with a little wiggle room at the toes. However, the back zipper is a little tricky, but if you simply hold your leg up pointing your toes and gently pull the zipper, this should slide easily over your calves. Other than that, they’re beautiful. Pairs nicely with a girly coat and skirt, giving you that polished city look. I’m so happy with my purchase, will definitely be back again.
