The clogs are a bit to get used to. I suggest ordering the next size up - the narrow size solves the roominess issue - as I usually wear a medium width. They also require a breaking in period - but overall - a well-made shoe!

Okay, so it's not the most stylish shoe in the world, but for being on my feet all day as a mom and helping at school, this is the best shoe ever. I had a pair when I was a teacher and loved them. I could stand all day and not have achy feet at the end of the day. I just found out that they were available in narrow and was thrilled! Order them - you won't be disappointed! I had to order the size equiv. of 11-12 even though I wear a 9 1/2. The appropriate size for 9-10 felt too small. Still not quite narrow enough for me, but definitely better than the regular width. These fit loose like clogs normally fit. Best arch support on any shoe I've ever owned!

loves how comfortable the shoes are. I was nervous because it was the week before Christmas when she told me she wanted these... I ordered them online on Sunday and was told it could take 3-5 business days. To my surprise and amazement they arrived on Tuesday!!! I would rate

I have other Dansko's and have always ordered a size 40. These shoes in a size 40 are a little bigger fit than my others. Maybe order a size smaller than usual.

As comfortable as clogs but way better looking -
I bought these for winter hoping they would be as comfortable as my professionals, and they are! The only issue I've had is a tidbit of rubbing at the top edge on my right above ankle area after walking all day in Paris. They are super comfortable, have excellent arch support, good toe space, and look good with any bootcut jean or pants. And they keep my feet a tidbit warmer too =). Odd sizing though, I have a size 40 in the professional clog, but needed a 39 in these- the 40 was enormous! I normally wear a US 8.5 or 9.

I'm actually returning these. I bought them for my daughter - size 40 stated fits sizes 9 1/2 to 10. My daughter is a 9 1/2 but they were too short in the toe.

This is the 3rd pair of dansko's professional cabrio that I have purchased. I am a resident physician and wear them at least 6 days a week. Each pair last about 1 year before wearing down on the foot bed. I recommend them to anyone on their feet for long work days.

Excellent shoe for person with flat feet and related foot strain issues. I would like to see this type of shoe made in different colors with a less clog style look, the oxford tie style was a very supportive shoe but very unattractive. I highly recommend this shoe to patients with flat foot problems.

Remember, It's A Clog -
Not the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The leather is hard. The inside bottom of the shoe is just as hard. Nice arch supports. Took a couple of wearings to be able to tolerate the support. I would have felt better about spending this type of money on a more comfortable shoe.

They squeak!
The insole is removable and squeaks when you walk. The shoes are great looking and comfortable except when you move. Certainly can't sneak up on anyone and everyone asks if they are paid for!

Best shoe I ever purchased -
I have owned this model of Dansko's Professional clog for over 4 years. This time I purchased one of a different color. Now I own a black, a cordovan, and hickory. These are very comfortable shoes that do not require lacing. There is no need to bend and use your hands to put these shoes on.

If you know Dansko, how could you go wrong? These are so cute and add a bit of "flair" to your jeans versus a plain ol' clog! Saw them in navy too-they're next on my list! As a nurse, I wear these for work but had to have the patent for my everyday garb as well...

Not for people with a high instep -
The footbed of this shoe is dreamy, and despite the "grandma" heel, the shoe looks nice for work or dress, especially if you are wearing long jeans or trousers... but if you have a high instep forget it. The shoe cuts exactly across the top of my foot and left a welt just after trying the shoe on. Oh well.

Love these, but not practical for me -
I really loved these shoes and they fit my wide feet! I did send them back due to needing a shoe that I can wear all day standing (hairstylist) and be comfortable. The heel is just a bit too high and the arch support didn't hit quite in the right spot (I think they were a tad too big). Perfect for special occasions or to wear for short periods, but for the price tag, I want shoes I can wear every day for 10-12 hrs if I so choose. I ordered the Merrie clogs as a replacement. A little dressier than the Sonya clogs that I've just about worn out! Just a side note... I had severe plantar fasciitis (was looking into surgery) until I tried Danskos. Now I only have foot pain 1st thing in the am, very briefly. I highly recommend this brand!

My friends say this is the coolest Dansko they've ever seen & I have to agree. Perhaps too clunky to wear with skirts, but very cool with jeans, cords and other pants that are a little on the casual side. They are very comfortable. The leather at the top of the ankle is a bit stiff and knocks me ankle bone on the outside. This is not a big problem and seems to be getting better with more wear. Overall a big hit!

I'm officially a Dansko fanatic and love the professional patent in claret. They are very comfortable and fun. Someone even referred to them as 'sexy' although that may be pushing it. Only drawback is that they're a little tighter over the bridge and slower to stretch than the natural leather ones I've previously purchased.
