Franco Moschino, born outside Milan, Italy in 1950, dedicated his life to creating fashion. He attended the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Brera, Milan, where he developed his skills in design and fashion illustration.
Moschino established himself as an accomplished designer and fashion illustrator for various fashion magazines, including illustrating for a prominent design house. In 1981, he became widely recognized as the sole designer of a Milan-based collection, which was known for its creativity and bohemian aesthetic. It was also where he met his future collaborator and dear friend, Rossella Jardini.
In 1983, Moschino, as he then became known, launched his first women's ready-to-wear collection under his own name, and showcased his very first runway show at the Fiera di Milano. From that point on, Franco Moschino became independently renowned for infusing his brave and intelligent wit, and love of all things Italian, into a well-tailored, wearable and whimsical collection with runway presentations that bordered on the spectacular.
The collaboration between Franco Moschino and Rossella Jardini, which began in 1984, continued not only to produce ready-to-wear designer clothing for women but also laid the groundwork and established the brand as we know it today. By 1988 the two had successfully created and launched the Moschino Cheap & Chic clothing collection, the first diffusion collection of its kind, a prêt-a-porter collection for men, Moschino Uomo, Moschino handbags and Moschino shoes for men and women, Moschino Jeans for both men and women, LOVE Moschino clothing for men and women, swim collections for men and women, lingerie, perfume, jewelery, sunglasses, Moschino umbrellas, Moschino belts, Moschino kid's shoes, and a children's clothing appropriately named - Moschino Bambino. During their eleven-year collaboration, until the time of Franco’s death in 1994, Ms. Jardini became an integral part of the creative process and a figure head for the company, which at the time, had more than 100 employees and a distribution network, in collaboration with Aeffe Spa, encompassing 15 offices worldwide.
In 2003, Moschino celebrated its twentieth anniversary. Under Ms. Jardini’s direction, it has grown into one of the world's most recognized and prosperous brand names. The Moschino retail network has expanded to include not only 22 mono-brand boutiques but also many high-end specialty shops and all luxury department stores. Moschino clothing is worn by the most prestigious and fashionable public figures of our time and has a broad appeal to any and every individual who enjoys expressing themselves through their clothing! These boots are fantastic. I literally ordered 10 different styles and they either were uncomfortable, didn't fit well, or too big around the calves. So finally I splurged and thought I’d just try these and see how they fit. Well, the high price tag is worth it! These look great over jeans and with skirts and LOVE the bow detail. They are very comfortable, there was no break in period at all, comfy from the first wear! Excellent quality leather (better be at this price). They run very true to size if not a tad big, I normally wear an 8 - 8.5 and the 8 fit perfect. One thing to mention, these are not for wide calves. One of the things I was looking for was a boot that would be snug around my calves and this was perfect! (I do have skinny calves.) Love them and my search for the perfect tall boot is over!

A unique take on the hot motorcycle jacket look!
Took a chance on this Moschino jacket and absolutely love it! Runs very true to size, unlike D&G where I sometimes have to size up, and the sleeve length here is normal and not down to the knuckles. The leather isn't kidskin, but feels great and the little ruffle near the top of the placket softens the look. I adore the buckle trim on each cuff and the jacket looks great with jeans or a floaty or feminine dress. Well worth the $$$ and something I will wear for a long time to come.

Beautiful!!!
Absolutely gorgeous peep toe heel!!! Even better in person. I think they run very true to size, I am 6.5 and had no problems with the fit. The heel feels like 4 inches though, ouch. I am keeping them and will use shoe inserts at the arch, too beautiful to let go...

Run small and heel is pretty high - very pretty though!
I ordered my size (8.5) and they are very, very tiny and I could hardly stuff my toes into the toe box to try them on. I have very cute feet and don't usually have a problem with fit, so I would say these seemed to be very narrow in the toe and they run small. The heel is also at least 4 inches and not 3. In person, the texture and style is great and the construction is really quality - wish they would have fit.

This is a BEAUTIFUL shoe! It has a 4 and 1/4" heel, not 3" as stated. I feel it runs a half size smaller and a bit narrower.

These boots are beautiful. The detail gives a feminine touch. Very comfortable. I bought them in May and cannot wait to wear them when it gets cooler. I wear a size 8 and had to return for size 8.5, because I have a high instep. The side zipper does not open to the top and it was very difficult to slip on with the size 8. The 8.5 was much better.

Another Hit for Moschino -
This little gem gives you just the right heel height when you can't "do" flats. It shapes to the contours of your foot--something that the lesser quality low heel shoes seem to lack. I highly recommend splurging for this shoe. Moschinos never disappoint and their classic styles wear season after season.

It's pretty, it's big... what's not to like? The pattern is so subtle that it almost looks like fancy texture. Bought it in black and have gotten loads of compliments. Worth the price, just don't leave it in the cab!

Pretty little "Rose on your Toes" sandals -
These are the cutest sandals I have ever owned....very feminine and comfortable for the resort. Mine are the yellow colorways....absolutely a knockout!!

Oh my, my, my this is love!
When I saw these I gasped, when I saw the price I gasped, and when my hubby saw the price he too gasped. But when I opened the box, it was love. These are so beautiful, so comfy and a perfect fit. I could not be happier with them. The design is so darling just like a black candied flowered pin wheel on top on an art deco sky scraper. So sleek and as light as a feather to wear. Worth every penny, or rather, worth every $100 dollar bill.

This is a beautiful shoe - comfortable and stylish. I am a narrow width normally and this medium width shoe fit fine. The shoe bed inside ran skimpy, as the strapping started too close to the front of the shoe and caught your little toes. The color had a burgundy "glitter" tint, definitely not a true bronze color. The color was the only reason that I returned the shoe, but the style was stunning!
